Bio-based Packaging

Bio-based packaging derive from non-petroleum biological resources. The Degradable bio-based material is called Green PE, which is made by the ethanol from sugarcane - which is renewable. It helps reducing the greenhouse gases

emissions and preserve the environment.

We have below option for our customer

Healthier solution

The non-toxic and healthy features of biodegradable food packaging make it a safe and healthy choice for all types of foods.

Reduces Waste

One of the most important benefits of biodegradable packaging is the reduction of overall food waste. By using biodegradable food packaging, plastic waste can be avoided from languishing in landfills for decades.

Supports circular economy and reduces carbon emissions

Food packaging made of biodegradable materials promotes the circular economy by adding nutrients to the soil and boosting food production. By planting sugar cane,  it can absorb Co2.

Decompose within a set time

Biodegradable packaging will usually break down in a year in a home compost bin and in 3 to 6 months in an industrial composting environment.

Bio-degradable

To be classified as biodegradable, packaging must be primarily made with natural materials such as wood pulp or potato starch, and can be broken down by bacteria and organisms. Our bio-based material is a material intentionally made from substances derived from living organisms and helped protect the earth’s resources. It contains biomass, and the material is natural, which completely separates us from regular plastics. Standard plastic is made from fossil fuel, but our bio-based material, for example, braskem, comes from sugar cane as the source. Materials like these allow packaging to degrade within one year, making packaging more environmentally friendly.

Using biodegradable packaging reduces the use of finite resources by using natural, renewable materials rather than fossil fuels alone.  As a result, biodegradable packaging has a smaller carbon footprint than traditional packaging. Hence, biodegradable packaging is one approach you can take if you're a business aiming to achieve sustainable

Benefits of using biodegradable packaging:

Recycled Material:

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) 4.0

Recycled plastics (post consumer, pre consumer) are used in a wide variety of applications. Recycling aims at environmental sustainability by substituting raw material inputs into and redirecting waste outputs out of the economic system. With the advancement of global sustainable development and a low-carbon economy, the concept of recycling such as garbage sorting and plastic recycling is reshaping our lives and showing unprecedented attention.

In terms of pursue resource recycling and protect nature, Supreme is striving to create environmental protection values in the recycling and reuse of waste plastics and will obtain the “Global Recycled Standard” 4.0 (GRS) certification in 2020.
